The state's Chief Secretary, Sudhanshu Pant, convened a meeting with senior officials on Friday to discuss preparations. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the siren system and minimizing response times.
According to the official statement, Pant instructed officials to ensure that all communication channels and the siren system are operational to enhance the communication framework. Jagjeet Singh Monga, the Director of the Civil Safety Directorate, highlighted the roles of various departments, including the Air Force, medical services, local bodies, home defense, energy, police, and district administration during the mock drill.
